DC – WRC-TV Seeking Senior Promotion Producer – PAID – ASAP

WRC-TV, the NBCUniversal Owned Television station in Washington, D.C., is looking for a Senior Promotion Producer. As a Senior Producer you will play a critical role in developing the NBC4 Washington brand. Working closely with Director of Creative Services in conceptualizing and creating on-air, digital and out-of-home promotion.

 

Job Duties

  • Conceptualize, produce, write, shoot, edit promotional spots and marketing campaigns for News4, NBC4 programming, special events and digital properties
  • Collaborate with the Director of Creative Services and Digital Promotion Manager.
  • Partner with the News department to create promotions such as topical, image, and franchise campaigns to execute the strategic goals of the station
  • Ensure that assigned projects meet their assigned budget and are delivered on time
  • Communicate clearly and in a timely manner with all production team members
  • Push the creative envelope to new heights while adhering to brand guidelines
  • Attend weekly planning/production meetings and adhere to other duties assigned
  • Feed out-of-home creative to various vendors

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years of on-air promotion experience as a writer/producer/editor for a cable network or local tv station
  • Proven ability to communicate and strong writing
  • Strong working knowledge of Final Cut Pro, Premiers Pro, After Effects a plus
  • Strong knowledge of television production procedures and news operations
  • Knowledge of promo editorial process from beginning to end
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field
  • Willingness to be a team player
  • Strong understanding and interest in Social Media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc)
