A regular of the Cannes Film Festival, director Kiyoshi Kurosawa has become one of the most influential and eccentric Japanese filmmakers of all time. Although best known for his horror films Pulse and Cure, Kurosawa’s oeuvre includes dramas, thrillers, and romances.
The JICC is excited to present two rarely-seen short films by Kurosawa and his first forays into the martial arts genre with Beautiful New Bay Area Project and Seventh Code. For film descriptions, please visit their website or the event registration page below.
