“The Boy & The Gun”
Written and Directed by: Tiernan Caulfield
Produced by: Ansh Pathapadu
Brief Synopsis:
Eighteen-year-old Trevor takes on a seemingly simple babysitting gig, spending the evening playing video games with seven-year-old Pete. But the night spirals into chaos when Pete discovers a real gun hidden in the apartment. What starts as an innocent game turns deadly, as Pete’s childlike curiosity and misunderstanding of danger collide with Trevor’s desperate attempts to regain control. In a harrowing and escalating series of events, Trevor must navigate fear, violence, and his own morality to protect them both before the night ends in irreversible tragedy.
Casting Call:
TREVOR(16-20 M): A laid-back, cocky teenager with a sharp tongue and a casual demeanor. Trevor hides his insecurities and lack of direction behind a mask of confidence, often treating life’s responsibilities with indifference.
PETE (8-13 M): An energetic, curious, and impressionable child who idolizes the older kids around him but doesn’t fully grasp the consequences of his actions. Pete’s playful innocence is coupled with a stubborn determination that can quickly turn mischievous.
