Annandale – seeking full time faculty of Film Studies – Paid

Northern Virginia Community College is seeking a fulltime faculty member of Film Studies.

Full-time teaching faculty in Film Studies are responsible for teaching various courses in the discipline. Courses are offered in traditional, hybrid, and distance learning environments. All faculty members must be available to teach day, evening and weekend classes. Faculty members also serve as faculty advisors, serve on division/ campus/
college committees, and participate in curriculum development and assessment. This appointment has a normal teaching load of 15 credits per semester.

The Film Studies faculty member duties include teaching classes in film studies and cinema theory, with possible assignments in the areas of screenwriting, film production, directing, and other related fields.
