Film: Hollins University Student Mystery/Horror Thesis Short Film

Production Description:
Florence is uncertain of her place in the world. She’s headed to a small town university to try to figure it out before she graduates. However, a spree of unsolved murders plagues the town and she gets caught in the middle of it. With the unusual and secret werewolf Archie Kennelly P.I. by her side, Florence will be cast into a world of the supernatural unknown.

Filming Dates: January till Beginning/Mid March

Compensation: No pay but food on set and access to film for reels. Money for gas may be provided.

Florence Fowler (Main Character)

Description:
The new girl in town attending Hollisburg College, who doesn’t want to be involved in these supernatural murders. She just wants to get her degree and get out of the podunk town.

Archie Kennelley (Main Character):

Age: 30s-50s
Description:
An amateur detective that believes all you need in life is good food, drink, and shelter. His cold, unconnected nature is the result of his past guilt and werewolf curse.

Detective Nicholson (Secondary):

Age: 30s-50s
Description:
Hollisburg’s small town Detective who’s running on coffee and a few hours of sleep

The Devil’s Butcher (Secondary):
Gender: Unspecified
Age: 20s-40s
Description:
A demon/shapeshifter that thrives to make people break trust. Sees humans as selfish creatures and uses that as an advantage before it kills humans. The Butcher does speak, but its mouth doesn’t move
