As of Aug 29, 2016 the FAA requires a formal license in order to fly your drone commercially. The Remote Pilot Certification will comprise of a 60 question, multiple choice FAA knowledge test. There is a considerable amount of aeronautical knowledge needed to pass this test, and you may be at a disadvantage if you are not familiar with the FAA tests and information required for manned aviation.
Our two-day course will help you overcome those hurdles, and provide you with all the tools to pass the Part 107 knowledge test as well as what you need to know to operate safely within the law the day after you pass your test.
In addition to simply covering the test material, you will learn the concepts and supporting information that will help you to consolidate and truly understand the rules, guides and principles from which the unmanned aircraft general aeronautical knowledge test questions were derived. The course material will also cover the administrative process of obtaining your Remote Pilot Certification once you’ve passed the test. There are many so called “test guides” on the market, but there truly is no substitute for having your very own subject matter expert teaching in person.

**IMPORTANT**
The Drone Flight School is NOT an FAA authorized testing facility so if you are not already a licensed pilot with a current flight review, then you will be required to physically attend an authorized FAA knowledge test facility. You will need to make a reservation to take your knowledge test. The sooner you make this reservation and take your test after this course, the greater your odds of success.
See the website at the following address to find a testing facility that works for you and the instructions for making a reservation.
