ACTORS –Richmond ONLY– University of Richmond Film Students Seeking 7 Actors for 3 Short Fiction Films – Unpaid
Sonja Bertucci, Visiting Professor in Film Studies at the University of Richmond & “FILM PRODUCTION 201” are seeking 7 ACTORS for their non-union student short films (under 4 minutes)
FILM 1
Title: Three Dead Men
Story: A convenience store clerk is held at gunpoint by a robber. The clerk, in order to deter the robber, tells him about the murders he himself has committed.
Character Breakdowns:
Clerk: 20s-30s, male, white, slender build, quietly confident and a bit intimidating.
Robber: 20s-50s, male, any ethnicity, average size, deep/gravely voice.
Directors: This is a collective project for Introduction to Film Production (FMST 201)

FILM 2
Title: Every Breath…
Story: When Justin realizes that he was not invited to hang out with his girlfriend Gianna and her friend Emma, he decides to take matters into his own hands and show up unannounced and uninvited.
Character Breakdowns:
Gianna: 19-24 years old, female, average height, thin to average build, any ethnicity. Gianna is nervous, emotional, and observant.
Justin: 19-24 years old, male, average to tall height, average build, any ethnicity. Justin is tech-savvy, short-tempered, creepy, controlling, snarky, and gets loud.
Emma: 19-24 years old, female, average height, thin to average build, any ethnicity. Emma is concerned, an active listener, and a supportive friend.
Directors: This is a collective project for Introduction to Film Production (FMST 201) directed by three FMST 201 students.

This film is a final project for an undergraduate introductory level film course. It will have a running time of 3-5 minutes and will be shot with a DSLR camera.

Title: No Work, All Play
Story: A street performer fantasizes that he is performing for the girl of his dreams in a concert hall, only to be catapulted back into reality.
Character Breakdowns:
Joe: All ages welcome, male. Joe is a musician playing on the street who dreams of performing in a concert hall. He is lonely, creepy, delusional, and yet slightly sympathetic.
Lynn: All ages welcome, female. Lynn is cheerful and kind-hearted to everyone—except to Joe, by whom she is repulsed.
