richmond – seeking short film actors – july 27 or 28 – paid

A team of filmmakers are seeking two actors for a 3-page short film/sample scene in late July.

Submissions due by July 14 for a shoot either July 27th or 28th. Must be available for the full day.

It’s a one-location shoot with a small crew at a residence in Midlothian, Virginia.

Head shots and reels welcome. Finalists will be asked for to self-tape a selection of the script.

Open to SAG and Non-union actors. Ultra low budget rates, whether union or not.

 

Dutch

White male, late 30’s to mid 40’s. Gruff and worn-down by hard living.

Dutch is a rural Virginia redneck with a drinking problem and questionable parenting skills.

This role will focus on your physical presence and vocal tone with the selected actor performing opposite your on-screen six-year-old son.

 

Sleeping Beauty

White female, 20’s to 30’s. Blonde hair.

White trash to the fullest. The cutest little thing you’ll ever see working in a truck stop. Had a one-night stand with Dutch, which she’ll end up regretting later.
