SCOTT’S ADDITION CREATIVE SPACE
Monday, July 16, 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm
Do you consider yourself part of Richmond’s creative community? Does the idea of an affordable, production incubator space intrigue you? Are you an aesthetically clever individual on a budget who dreams of a space of your own in the hottest area of the city? Seriously, do you find yourself driving around Scott’s Addition wondering? No disrespect to coffee shops or co-working spaces, Coffee houses are amazing, Gather is perfect and impressive…but if you are looking for something, intimate, diy, collaborative, yet affordable for that indie passion project, we would like to invite you to an open house at 2939 W. Marshall Street on Monday, July 16th, 4-7pm.
My company, Anne Chapman Casting, is located on the second floor, maybe you’ve been there for an audition, a self tape, a class or table read with myself, John Moon or Eva DeVirgilis. The building is owned by a terrific gentleman who loves Richmond and would love the first floor of his building occupied by one or more people or businesses who are an active part of Richmond’s creative community.
The first floor is 2011 sq ft and our idea is that it could either be occupied by one business or individual or that several would join together to share the space. It would be ideal for small independent production companies, studios, for classes, workshops or studio space.
Scott’s Addition is one of Richmond’s most interesting neighborhoods, and smaller, finished, adaptable, affordable space is getting harder and harder to find here. We are in the exploratory phase now and would love to hear your ideas soon. If you have any questions, or are unable to attend but want to express your interest, please email Mary Nelson (firstname.lastname@example.org) or Anne Chapman (email@example.com) .
Below is the link to the Thalhimer listing for the space.
Please pass this along to anyone you feel would be interested!
1 block from the Scott’s Addition Pulse Stop. There will be snacks!
