Casting call for student project.

GENNA, a socially isolated high school senior, becomes consumed by maladaptive daydreams in which she is romantically involved with ELI, her best friend OLIVIA’s boyfriend. What begins as harmless fantasies soon takes a darker turn as her dreams and jealousy intensify. Genna slowly starts to blur these realities and becomes convinced that Olivia is the obstacle between her and happiness. As prom approaches and her mental state deteriorates, Genna’s reality fractures. Convinced that eliminating Olivia is the one infiltrating her perfect relationship, she takes desperate and dangerous actions, leading to a violent confrontation.
