I.T. Productions is seeking FIVE Local to RVA actors for an Independent Non-Union Short Film “She’s Gone” shooting in May. Callback Date: February 27th, 2022 STORYLINE: A young woman, dealing with severe panic attacks, takes on the role of maid of honor for her sister, all while struggling to suppress her anxiety of being around her sister’s toxic bridesmaids. SEEKING: SARAH – [BLACK, MUSLIM, EARLY 20’s] A soon to be bride and the compassionate yet vain younger sister of Du’aa. Although sweet, she is a bit insensitive and oblivious to her bridesmaids torment of Du’aa. HANA – [MUSLIM, EARLY 20’s] The fiery and confrontational Bridesmaid of Sarah. She might play nice in front of her beloved soon to be married friend, but she’s a true mean girl to Du’aa. Although fashion forward, and confident, she’ll stop at nothing to ridicule and gaslight Du’aa. FARAH – [MUSLIM, EARLY 20’s] the second bridesmaid of Sarah. Alongside Hana, she is intimidating, sarcastic, and extremely insensitive when it comes to Du’aa. She might pretend like she has it all together but underneath her strong personality is a tacky wanna-be. FAIZA – [MUSLIM, MID-LATE 40’s] a psychiatrist in her late 40’s. Although professional, she’s a warm and motherly figure to her patient Du’aa.
