| Casting the following roles for a feature film to be made in and around Petersburg, Virginia, beginning mid August, 2022. All roles are major characters and paid.
(AZEEM) – Early/mid 20’s male of Middle Eastern descent – or able to pass for it. Raised in the U.S. with no Middle Eastern accent. An easygoing, likeable guy. (CHUCK) – Early 70’s white male. Vietnam vet. Auto mechanic. (DANNY) – Late 40’s-early 50’s white male. Iraq war vet. Auto mechanic. (STAR) – Mid-20’s female. White or mixed race (black/white). Smart and confident. (SPUTNIK) – 7 – 10 year-old black female. Curious, mature and clever beyond her years. (CHARLOTTE) – Early 50’s white female. A bit of a hippie. Musician. Ability to sing and play guitar a plus. (MR. MATHIS) – Late 60’s black male. An expressive character with an animated urban personality. (THE SHAMAN) – Mid 30’s – mid 40’s male of Caribbean Island descent who speaks with an elegant, sophisticated style and accent. (MR. LEE) – 40 – 50 year-old male of Asian descent. Urban corner market owner. (MRS. LEE) – 40 – 50 year-old female of Asian descent. (HISPANIC GRANDMOTHER) 60 – 70 year-old Hispanic female. Speaks Spanish. (HISPANIC CHILD) – 7 – 10 year-old Hispanic female. An important non-verbal role.
