Storyline: On the brink of losing his family’s sheep farm, Sam Penderson pursues the bounty on a vampire that haunts his land. He uses his hunting skills to trap the creature, but learns that it’s well-intentioned; seeking only its long-buried treasure. Sam teams up with the vampire to find the treasure and save the family farm, but what he ultimately discovers is something far more valuable than gold.

[FARMER JOKIC] (Pronounced Joke-Itch)
40, Black man. Neighboring the Penderson’s property is Farmer Jokic, who’s been running his family’s old farm for decades now. A fourth generation farmer; Farmer Jokic rarely leaves his cattle. His currency is cattle. 40 but appears much older and haggard. He loves his life and the freedom it gives, but all that changed last winter when Jokic took a nasty tumble from his horse. Not as mobile as he used to be due to his injury, Jokic has been grappling with the fact that he may need to sell off some of his land to avoid losing the whole farm down the road. Farmer Jokic doesn’t know much about George LeBuke, the man who badly wants to buy his land, but he trusts that LeBuke’s plan for all this land will honor the people’s best interest. In reality, Jokic feels that he’s out of options.
