We sure hope we have already gotten to meet you at one of our Three (3) Open Calls over the last several weeks, or that you or your kid’s agent/manager have already submitted via Actors Access or Breakdown Services.

If that is the case we have your info and there is no need to submit again, in fact PLEASE DO NOT SUBMIT AGAIN!!

Please note:

Filming takes place outside of Martinsville, Virginia.

Daily tick checks will be conducted. There will be cooling stations, water & shade always available. A medic will always be present on set / Lifeguard present during lake swimming scene. A survivalist specialist is consultant to the project and will be present on set.
The film depicts the antics of a survivalist camp for kids with most camp scenes shot outdoors in rural Virginia.

Storyline: After a ten year estrangement, liberal sisters Dinah and Abigail return to their childhood homestead in rural Virginia to pay respects to their allegedly dying conservative father and get bamboozled into running the survivalist camp for kids that their parents Jeb and Susan founded after the sisters flew the coop. So Abby, Dinah, and Dinah’s son Michael venture into the woods with six paying campers on the precipice of puberty. Our diverse, motley crew flounder and triumph over the course of the week. When disaster strikes and Jeb and Susan save the day, will the family find a way to come together again?

Seeking the following:

[MICHAEL] 9 to 11 years old; Mixed Ethnicity (Black/White); boy. Dinah’s son. Close to his mother, and raised in Richmond. Dinah is a single mother and they are a team. His Aunt Abigail is the only other family he knows, but doesn’t get to see her very often. He is empathetic, a good student, and wise for his age. A bit of a klutz with Labrador puppy energy. His own political views are more influenced by his classmates than his mom. He is a people pleaser and thrilled to meet the grandparents he had no idea existed. Innocent and sweet to the core. He might have the occasional pup tent in his pants, which can be embarrassing at summer camp! Must be comfortable outdoors and swimming in lake water. In a truth or dare scene MICHAEL takes off his shorts and we see the superhero underwear that he is wearing beneath his shorts. When the campers are first meeting one another, MICHAEL is full clothed and is embarrassed as he realizes he has a boner.  We do not see the boner, in a wide shot he is seen covering his crotch with his hands.

LEAD. RATE: Scale (+10% if agent), shoots approx. 15 days.

[CHLOE] 9 to 11 years old; Black, East Asian, Eastern European, Filipino, Hispanic, Indigenous, Mixed Ethnicity, White; girl. 10 going on 30,, full face of makeup, thick eyeliner, has 1M followers on YouTube where people watch her play video games. She’s a true New Yorker and a classic bully with a nanny she controls and parents who are never around. If not for the money she is being raised with it would be a Dickensian level of neglect her parents are practicing. Chloe is a survivor, thriving even. She will either find great success as an adult or great tragedy. This summer camp experience is more important for her future than any amount of influencers. She has a cute bikini and is not afraid to strut her stuff. Must be comfortable outdoors and swimming in lake water. CHLOE takes off her shirt and we see her in a Pink “Victoria’s Secret” padded bra.

LEAD ENSEMBLE. RATE: Scale (+10% if agent), shoots 12-15 days.

[PENELOPE] 10 to 12 years old; Hispanic; girl. Southern accent, hair always pulled into a messy low ponytail, dresses like a tomboy but lives with God-fearing parents who decorate her room in pink. She often regurgitates Republican and Christian phrases she hears from her parents. This week at camp opens Pen’s world in so many ways, not the least of which is deciding to cut her signature long ponytail in a moment of independence and self realization. Must be comfortable outdoors and swimming in lake water.

LEAD ENSEMBLE. RATE: Scale (+10% if agent), shoots 12-15 days.

[KATARINA] 8 to 10 years old; White; girl. Huge Hunger Games fan to the point of only dressing like Katniss, incredible archer. She’s cute and would be popular if it weren’t for the weird Hunger Games obsession. Pint sized. Always trying and frequently succeeding in keeping up with her older brothers. There is no tree she won’t climb. Fierce and fearless. The youngest at camp, but that doesn’t phase her, she is always the youngest. Must be comfortable outdoors and swimming in lake water. Archery skills needed, archery instructor/expert will be on set.

LEAD ENSEMBLE. RATE: Scale (+10% if agent), shoots 12-15 days.

[BONNIE] 11 to 13 years old; White; girl. Plump and in the thralls of puberty, could really use a bra but doesn’t wear one. She’s an excellent girl scout with impressive survival skills who recently lost her mother and feels lost. Has always felt at peace in nature but this is the first camping trip without her mother and with a body she doesn’t know how to navigate. Must be comfortable outdoors and swimming in lake water.

LEAD ENSEMBLE. RATE: Scale (+10% if agent), shoots 12-15 days.

[RAGHU] 8 to 11 years old; South Asian; boy. Indian (Mumbai), British accent, from wealthy parents who recently moved him to the middle of nowhere Virginia to purchase an Alpaca farm. Accustomed to the finer things. He’s a bit of a class clown / rebel with a London street vibe. His charm and sense of humor are the only skills that translate. He has lived quite a life in his 10 years, but is still a kid who enjoys goofing around. Always open to the next adventure, but doesn’t love when nature calls in the woods! Must be comfortable outdoors and swimming in lake water.

LEAD ENSEMBLE. RATE: Scale (+10% if agent), shoots 12-15 days.

[TUCKER] 11 to 14 years old; Black, White; boy. Tall and lanky, autistic, encyclopedic knowledge of bugs and other random trivia, often interjects to correct people. Not annoying as his fact bombs are usually spot on and needed in the moment. Comes from an academic family where facts are respected and expected. Must be comfortable outdoors and swimming in lake water. Must love bugs (does not need to work with live animals).

LEAD ENSEMBLE. RATE: Scale (+10% if agent), shoots 12-15 days.
