Independent Television Service (ITVS) and USAID, in partnership with the Ford Foundation, bring together thought leaders, policymakers and change makers to discuss the transformative power of documentary film on gender equality and new approaches to evaluation.
The event will feature compelling film content that drives measureable change on gender issues, new data techniques used to measure impact, and a panel discussion with media and development professionals, followed by a cocktail reception.

Women and Girls Lead Global is a five-country, five-year project produced by the Independent Television Service (ITVS), using documentary film and strategic engagement to reduce gender-based violence in India and Jordan, improve educational outcomes for girls in Peru and Bangladesh, and promote women leaders in Kenya.
