CASTING CALL SUPPORTING ROLE — “PASSING FACES” (Student Short Film | UVA Production)

When: March 14, 2026 – March 15, 2026

Where: Charlottesville, VA

Non-Paid: Student Production

Description: “Passing Faces” Written & Directed by Tiernan Caulfield

Synopsis:
Jonah is a young, unhoused janitor quietly working on a university campus, spending his nights in his car and his days trying not to be noticed. A small act of kindness from a college student pulls him into spaces where he briefly passes as someone who belongs. As Jonah navigates friendship, pride, and the limits of charity, he’s forced to decide whether being seen is worth what it asks of him.

Casting Call:

Pete (male, 40s, any race): Jonah’s friend and another janitor at the university who is also unhoused.

Compensation:

This is an unpaid student/independent short film. Travel, lodging, or transportation will not be provided. Meals will be provided on set.

Reels:

Actors will receive a digital copy of the completed film for their personal reels.
