Statewide – Submit to the Bethesda Film Fest – Jan 11 deadline – $25 fee

The Bethesda Film Fest is accepting submissions for the

7th annual festival in April 2019.

 

Short (5-30 minute), documentary films by filmmakers from Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C. will be considered. Films must have been completed within the last two years. All topics are eligible. A film by a young filmmaker, under age 18, may also be chosen.

 

Selected Films: Selected filmmakers will receive a $1,000 honorarium. Young filmmakers will receive a $250 honorarium. Selected films will be shown at all three festival screenings.

 

Festival Dates: Friday, April 5 & Saturday, April 6, 2019

Screenings take place at Imagination Stage in downtown Bethesda, MD. Filmmakers are required to attend the screening and speak about their work.
