Residential Locations Needed for feature film shooting in Winchester, slated for winter 2017:

Neighborhood in woodsy area with two average older looking houses, roughly across the street from each other.

Open to cabins, or larger size trailer or ranch style houses, preferably secluded.

Generally seeking multiple houses that have an older feel to the interior, woodsy feel. Nothing modern.

Filmmakers use the Virginia Film Office Location Library to browse and consider locations for commercials, series tv, and feature films; we are also frequently asked for venue suggestions for various film-related events, screenings and meetings. Please keep in mind the following:

-there’s a limit of 10 photos per file, they must be in JPEG format and less than 5.00 MB
-we prefer landscape not portrait orientation, if possible
-we prefer photos without models or distracting elements in the foreground
-detail shots (furniture, door knob detail, close ups, etc) will likely not be included in the file

*Popular locations are: schools, courthouses, historic locations, homes, warehouses, abandoned locations, jails, hospitals, and office locations. Any locally owned properties that are vacant can be highly attractive to production companies for inexpensive office or film locations.
