Washington DC – WiFV Spotlight on Screenwriters Event – Sept. 8 – $20-$25 entry fee

1233 20th Street, NW Washington, DC 20036

Thursday, September 8, 2016 at 6:30 PM

Washington, DC is home to a community of highly skilled screenwriters. To draw attention to their talent and help get their work in front of major producers, writer and producer Monica Lee Bellais created the Spotlight on Screenwriters initiative, which culminated in a catalogue featuring production-ready screenplays written by WIFV (Women in Film & Video) members.  Following the success of volumes I and II, Monica and WIFV are now launching programming for the 2016 catalogue. Spotlight on Screenwriters is made possible in part with the generous support of the Office of Cable Television, Film, Music & Entertainment (OCTFME) and Interface Media Group.

This workshop will focus on production companies.

Registration $20–WIFV Members $25–Non-members If you have any specific questions about your screenplay or the Spotlight  initiative, bring them to the meeting and Monica will address your requests. Thank you to Interface Media Group for providing this space!

Refund Policy: Refunds are available up to 48 hours in advance of the program. No refund will be issued for a cancellation with less than 48 hours notice. If the event is cancelled or rescheduled, refunds will be issued as needed.
