The Aspen Institute, founded in 1950, is an international nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering enlightened leadership and open-minded dialogue.  Through seminars, policy programs, conferences and leadership development initiatives, the Institute and its international partners seek to promote nonpartisan inquiry and an appreciation for timeless values.

Communications:

The Communications Department elevates and illuminates the Aspen Institute brand by promoting and sharing the work of Institute programs and activities. The department oversees the Institute’s website, social media, media relations, digital editorial content, video production, printed publications and graphic design.

Basic Function:

The Audio Visual Coordinator’s primary function is to manage the audio visual needs in the Washington DC office. This includes setting up audio and visual equipment for events and meetings, managing the use of the equipment during events, and maintaining the equipment over time, recommending upgrades as needed to meet client event objectives. In addition and as time allows, the Audio Visual Coordinator also provides video production and editing support to the Video Production Manager.
