Richmond – Twenty Twenty Production Company Needs Genealogist or Historian – Aug. 23 – Paid

UK production company Twenty Twenty is looking for an experienced genealogist or historian (ideally with experience of women’s history), to appear on a new BBC history documentary in the UK.

They are looking for someone who can speak about our genealogical research with the show’s presenter, and who is a confident speaker preferably with some TV experience. All research has already been conducted but the genealogist or historian must be able to get to grips with the information, and reveal it in an engaging and articulate manner.

The filming is for a series with the working title of “The House” and will tell the story of the people who lived in one house, from the time it was built until now. The filming concerns one of the residents who left the UK for the US in the 1860’s.

Filming will take approximately 3 hours, and take place in Richmond, VA, on Wednesday, August 23rd in the afternoon.
