Richmond – Drone Training – Sept. 17

Drone Cinematography 101
Elevate Your Film Production
Sept. 17th, 2016

This one-day forum with panel discussion is designed to provide practical information to photographers and videographers interested UAV/Drone Filming. This program is offered by Virginia’s CCWA: Community College Workforce Alliance in partnership with the Virginia Film Office and the Virginia Production Alliance.
There will be a panel of industry leaders, moderated by Jimmy Olivero of SkyCamUsa, who will provide a chance to learn from some of the brightest minds working on the front lines of drone cinematography. Participants will have the chance to see and touch a full range of drones including small, medium and full-sized “heavy lifter” aircraft.  Also part of the course will be information on the rapidly changing legalities involved in drone filming.

The forum will also feature a live drone demo and flight broadcast – you won’t want to miss this!

DJI, the market leader in easy-to-fly drones and aerial photography systems, has generously provided a brand new Phantom 3 Standard Drone ($500 value) to be given away by random drawing to one of the participants on the day of the event.
