Norfolk, VA – VPA Hampton Roads District General Meeting – Sept. 19

Virginia Production Alliance Hampton Roads District will hold a general meeting Monday September 19th at Old Dominion University’s Goode Theatre at 4601 Monarch Way, Norfolk VA 23508.

The meeting will coincide with ODU’s kick off of the Campus MovieFest.  It is similar to the 48 Hour Film Project but production teams are restricted to ODU students.  However, anyone can be in front of the camera,  and they will most likely be looking for talent for their projects.

The Meet and Greet/Networking starts at 7:00 PM.  Meeting starts at 7:30 and will end by 9:00.

Our Speaker will be Andy Edmunds, Director of the Virginia Film Office.  He will be discussing the state of the industry and discuss projects that are ongoing at this time.

We will be putting out information on the following events coming up in the near future:

 

Production Assistant (PA) training class scheduled for October.

Association of Independent Commercial Producers presents the year’s best commercials.
