Maryland Film Festival Now Accepting Submissions – Deadline Dec. 29 – Fee

The 20th annual Maryland Film Festival is looking for all types of film and video work of exceptional quality: feature length and shorts; narratives and documentaries; domestic and foreign; genre work and the unclassifiable; and while it is a general-interest festival, it does frequently program animation, experimental, and underground content. Unique voices and viewpoints are always a plus.

The Maryland Film Festival is actively working to increase the number of foreign titles it screens; filmmakers from all over the world are encouraged to submit their work.

Submission categories include feature films (50 minutes or longer), short films (25 minutes and under OR 26-49 minutes), and local features (40 minutes or longer produced 50% in Maryland).
