The ‘kick-off’ will feature a special screening of one of Life Out Loud Films’ previous films, WISH YOU WELL, followed by a Q&A session with its Screenwriter/Producer David Baldacci and Producer Sara Elizabeth Timmins. WISH YOU WELL was shot in Giles County, Virginia and stars Ellen Burstyn, Josh Lucas, and Mackenzie Foy.

The SHOELESS WONDERS team will share more about the film and their plans to shoot in Lynchburg, their motto “don’t just make a film make a difference” and opportunities for the community to get involved.

Inspired by real events, SHOELESS WONDERS is about the legendary barefoot football team from the local Presbyterian Home for Orphans that went undefeated and unscored upon for eight years. The film will be shot in Lynchburg in the Fall of 2017 and is being produced by local company Life Out Loud Films who’s past films include WISH YOU WELL, LAKE EFFECTS, and COMING THROUGH THE RYE.
