The Falls Church office of Carlyn Davis Casting is currently offering part time internships for the 2017 Summer Semester. These internships are unpaid, but school credit and travel stipend is offered. You do not have to be a student to intern.
Carlyn Davis office hours are Monday-Friday, 9:15am to 5:30pm. The internship starts on or about May 30, 2017 and ends on or about September 1, 2017. Interns are responsible to come in for at least 2 days a week. They may choose to intern for more than 2 days if schedules allow.
Duties include answering busy phones, interaction with talent and clients, helping with Audio/Video during casting sessions, scheduling auditions, scouting talent at local theatres, etc. Strong computer skills and basic video camera knowledge (framing terms, camera use, etc) are a plus. There is no better way to learn the casting/film industry than behind the scenes.
