Help shape a feature film. Filmmaker Mike Kravinsky will be showing his nearly finished film “Nothing To Do” at NDR’s July meeting. Here is a chance to not only hear about Mike’s experience making his film, but also give him valuable feedback on where the film works, and how it can be improved.

“Nothing To Do” is the story of Irv, an elderly man who after several visits to the hospital, realizes that he can’t deal with the pain and immobility anymore, goes into hospice. In comes Kenny, his irresponsible 50ish year old son, a radio DJ in Philadelphia with a drug problem. He’s been tasked with caring for him at the end of his life. Also, there’s Rachel, his hard charging, tightly wound sister, who wants to send him back to the hospital to “get well,” an impossibility. The film is 90 minutes.

The Narrative Directors Roundtables are open to the general public. They provide an opportunity for directors and those who are interested in working with directors to network and learn about strengthening their skills. Narrative Directors Roundtables frequently feature special guest speakers from all aspects of the creative world.
