The “Drafthouse” replaced the Arlington Theater or “Old Arlington” as it was affectionately known in 1985. The theater is currently owned and operated by a local family. It offers a unique location that combines a full restaurant, comedy venue, and large screen movie theater. At the Locavore series, guests can support a local business while watching films to support the local film industry.

Among the other films in the series are BEDFORD, a documentary about a town in Virginia that had the highest loss of men from combat during World War II; four films with an international perspective in January; and LAST NIGHT, a narrative feature about an unlikely romance that starts in a DC coffee shop.
