WJLA-TV has an immediate opening for a Promotions Producer. We’re looking for a competitive, hardworking promotions producer to join our award-winning shop. We’re a station in a constantly moving, rarely boring market, and we’ve got all the toys you need if you’ve got the creativity to match. Great writing is key! You must be a highly creative producer/director, and a gifted non-linear editor.
Responsibilities include:
Writing
Editing
Producing daily news topical promos and image
Experience and Skills:
At least three years promotion experience and proficiency with Adobe Premiere are necessary
Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills
Experience with news promotion and advance skills in After Effects are a plus
