For Location Owners
					The Virginia Film Office uses an online library of over 5000 location photographs taken from all over the state to market Virginia to the film and television production industry. The next location that could recruit a major studio production to Virginia could be in your area...but if it’s not in our library then our clients may never see it. If you would like to market your home or property to the film and television industry, please mail a CD of pictures to: Locations Department Virginia Film Office 901 E. Byrd St. Richmond, VA 23219 The images on the CD should: include exterior and interior images of the property be not much larger than 500kb in size be in JPG format (please do not send TIFFs or PDFs) be sent along with the address for the property and contact information for the property owner Locations that are often requested by clients include but are not limited to: Scenic Farms Vacant Hospitals and Prisons Scenic Small Towns Modern Homes, Fashionably Furnished Period Cities and Towns (1700’s-1950’s) Vacant Warehouses and Factories Plantations and Estates Unique Natural Locations (Waterfalls, Cliffs, Caves, etc.) Contact the Locations Department of the Virginia Film Office by calling 800.854.6233 or emailing locations@virginia.org if you have any questions or visit our Locations Library to see what locations are already on file.
