DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
Will be responsible for various positions in the control room to include; content playback in Control rooms, on-air graphics, teleprompter and audio.
May be responsible for input and recall during live and recorded production of talent prompting system.
May be responsible for prepping and communicating cues and other information from control room staff to on-set talent.
Ability to work on newscasts, current affairs, and other types of television programming.
Provide support to other studio positions as needed.
Supporting a 24×7 facility, may require the ability to work various shifts, weekends, including holidays.

QUALIFICATION/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Four year degree in television or related field or equivalent experience; professional experience in lieu of education will be considered.
Two or more years experience in television production preferred.
Candidate must be a self-starter and a team player.
Candidate must have strong written and verbal communications skills, be well organized and capable of handling multiple assignments.
An overall understanding of the news and programming production process is desirable and a strong sense of urgency in solving customer requests to ensure timely resolution is critical.
Arabic language skills and cultural knowledge are required for most positions.
An overall understanding of news and television production experience is desirable.
Candidates must be willing to work flexible hours, including overnights and weekends.

             entertainment during the early 20^th century.
             In Norfolk: the events will be held at the Attucks Theatre (1010 Church Street in
             Downtown Norfolk), which when first opened in the 20s, and was known as the
             “Apollo of the South.”

Kick off in Norfolk on Thursday night, February 23^rd, at 7:00 pm, and will continue Friday night, February 24^th, at 7:00 pm in Richmond. Tickets are $10 each and will be available at the door. All proceeds will go towards supporting the Legacy Media Institute, a non-profit organization advancing the art of media production for a diverse global society.

Sam: Female or Male, Age 25-40, Main character (Originally written for male character but hoping to find a female). Needs to be in good physical shape and comfortable using different weapons. Has a lot of emotional baggage but is not very expressive (must be subtly expressive)
Schultz Brothers: These 2 have to look like brothers
Vlad: Age 25-40. Older brother. Well spoken, mischievous and manipulative. Analyzes Sam throughout the journey.
Henry: Age 20-35. Younger brother. Clever, bigger built than Vlad. Easily entertained and thinks killing is a game.
Old Man: Age 50-70. Smart, loyal and strong.
Kate:  Age 25-40. Love interest of Sam. Independent, pretty and delicate
Gang of thieves: Skinny-man: Age 30-45; Large-man: Age 25-40; Fat-man: Age 30-45, does not actually need to be fat at all.

“VIGNETTE I,” a DC-based short film production, is having its first casting call this month. Role:
BIANCA: FEMALE, AGE: 25-30. A smart 20-something grad student who has fallen out of love with her boyfriend. She doesn’t know how to tell him. She contemplates their waning relationship while he sleeps beside her.

*This is more of an actors exercise than a concrete narrative. The aim of Vignette I is to explore the nuances in nonverbal expression via face and body language. There is some dialogue but it will be minimal. The point is to build a character around gestures.
