			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Studio Assistant is responsible for providing technical operations support for fast paced news broadcast network.</p>
<p><span style="font-size: x-small;"><strong>DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong> <br />Will be responsible for various positions in the control room to include; content playback in Control rooms, on-air graphics, teleprompter and audio. <br />May be responsible for input and recall during live and recorded production of talent prompting system. <br />May be responsible for prepping and communicating cues and other information from control room staff to on-set talent. <br />Ability to work on newscasts, current affairs, and other types of television programming. <br />Provide support to other studio positions as needed. <br />Supporting a 24&#215;7 facility, may require the ability to work various shifts, weekends, including holidays.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: x-small;"><strong>QUALIFICATION/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:</strong> <br />Four year degree in television or related field or equivalent experience; professional experience in lieu of education will be considered. <br />Two or more years experience in television production preferred. <br />Candidate must be a self-starter and a team player. <br />Candidate must have strong written and verbal communications skills, be well organized and capable of handling multiple assignments. <br />An overall understanding of the news and programming production process is desirable and a strong sense of urgency in solving customer requests to ensure timely resolution is critical. <br />Arabic language skills and cultural knowledge are required for most positions. <br />An overall understanding of news and television production experience is desirable. <br />Candidates must be willing to work flexible hours, including overnights and weekends.</span></p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><span style="font-size: small;">Award winning and acclaimed actor, director, and producer Tim Reid presents “Tim Reid&#8217;s Movie Night”, a series of events that will be showcasing independent films from the U.S. and around the world. To be scheduled once a month, an outstanding independent film will be shown in both Richmond and Norfolk, Virginia.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;"><strong>Where: </strong><em>In R</em><em>ichmond:</em> The Hippodrome Theater (528 North 2nd Street in historic Jackson </span><br /><span style="font-size: small;">             Ward) which was considered the center of African-American commerce, arts, and</span><br /><span style="font-size: small;">             entertainment during the early 20<sup>th</sup> century.</span><br /><span style="font-size: small;">             <em>In Norfolk:</em> the events will be held at the Attucks Theatre (1010 Church Street in</span><br /><span style="font-size: small;">             Downtown Norfolk), which when first opened in the 20s, and was known as the</span><br /><span style="font-size: small;">             “Apollo of the South.”</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;">Kick off in <em>Norfolk</em> on <strong>Thursday</strong> night, <strong>February 23<sup>rd</sup></strong>, at <strong>7:00 pm</strong>, and will continue <strong>Friday</strong> night, <strong>February 24</strong><sup><strong>th</strong>,</sup> at <strong>7:00 pm</strong> in <em>Richmond</em>. <strong>Tickets</strong> are <strong>$10</strong> each and will be available at the door. <p><strong>Synopsis:</strong> Two ordinary barristos go through a night of adventure to get to the party.<br /><strong>When: </strong>Tentative date is Sunday, Feb. 26th between 10am-4pm. Shooting for this project is set to start and complete in MARCH 2012. Shoot will require a total of 4 days of availability and be shot during the course of two weekends. <br /><strong>Where:</strong> Location to be announced shortly. </p>
